1st UC Music Experience Research Community Initiative (MERCI) Symposium/Workshop on Research on Music Experience and Communication

We had over 30 speakers from across the UC system speak on diverse research topics.

Workshop purpose: The UC MERCI board wished to gauge UC-wide interest in research that relates to the way in which humans experience music and the potential impact of music on society. The symposium/workshop allowed interested individuals to share their interests with each other and begin brainstorming collaborative research projects for which funding can be sought from UC, state, federal, corporate, and philanthropic sources beginning in 2016.
